Dan was taken from us way too young... he loved cars and motorcycles...
Suzanne's family has kept her spirit alive by giving back to the next generation...
The Suzanne Sheehy Memorial Scholarship has been awarded every year at AWHS Graduation since June 1987. It is a scholarship awarded to a graduating senior who is planning to pursue a college degree in Mathematics or a related field, as Suzanne was planning to attend Merrimack College to pursue a degree in engineering.
Kim moved to the midwest and left behind her husband and two sons.
Ted grew up in Weymouth. During his time at AWHS, he was an integral part of our football team and our track team. He Ted was inducted to the AWHS Hall o Fall for football. After graduation, he moved to Indiana to attend the University of Notre Dame, where he was a 4 year member of the football team. Ted played in the Cotton Bowl, Orange Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Fiesta Bowl. In 1990, Ted went to Winston-Salem NC, where he was a graduate football coach while earning his master's degree at Wake Forest University. Ted had a highly successful career in corporate security in the Midwest and U.K. Above all, Ted was a devoted family man, and incredible husband, son, and brother. His presence filled a room and his laugh was contagious. Second only to his love for his wife and his family, he loved a few simple things: football, cold beer, good pizza, and Brant Rock.
Trece was a longtime Quincy resident. She was a high honor graduate from St. Ann's School, Archbishop Williams, and Lesly University. She was a manager at State Street Corporation and Network Heath; an Independent Consultant at Silpada and, most recently, Group Leader at Touchstone Crystal by Swarovski. Trece was actively involved in raising and contributing to many charities throughout her life. Trece loved music, to travel and the Arts. She was grace and light. When you were in Trece's presence, you knew you were part of something outstanding. Her laughter was contagious and her love and loyalty was pure. Trece believed in, encouraged, accepted, and loved without condition.
David was from Weymouth and was a longtime member of Local 17 Sheet Metal Union. He was an avid football fan. David was blessed with many friends and neighbors that became family. He is remembered as funny, lovable character with a heart of gold.
Sharon grew up in Braintree and leaves behind 3 children.
After AWHS graduation, Sharon went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from University of Massachusetts. Sharon was the longtime manager at The Chateau in Braintree. She was an active member of the Braintree community, teaching CCD for many years at St Thomas Moore Church and was a huge presence in the Braintree sports community, where she could always be found on the sidelines or in the stands, cheering on her children or her friends' children. Sharon was a people person, making friends wherever she went and was an inspiration to so many friends and family. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and going out to dinner with her friends, however, spending time with her children and family is what brought Sharon the most joy.
Charles E. Jr. Known as "Charlie" and "CJ", of Milton and Oakland Park, Florida, passed on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at his childhood home, surrounded by devoted family. Born in Quincy and raised in Milton. He was a proud graduate of Archbishop Williams in 1986 and Maine Maritime Academy in 1990. He was a dedicated maritime engineer, and a member of MEBA (Marine Engineers' Beneficial Association). His long career as a sailor in the Merchant Marine Service took him around the world several times and further educated him in geopolitical, geoeconomic, and geosocial systems. He was never shy to voice his opinions of the world, making every conversation enlightening, insightful, passionate, and entertaining. Charlie could navigate using the stars, and his language was often filled with maritime idioms and descriptions. Charlie was a member of the online "Belong" cancer support group. The warriors whom he met there described him as an inspiration. He was a positive influence upon them by encouraging them to continue the battle, and to use all of their weapons to fight cancer. He, himself, fought cancer every step of the way, never giving up.
